Qld: Quicksilver was obeying the rules says Dive Qld

Dive Queensland says the dive company at the centre of the disappearance of an 80-year-old
woman off the state's north has followed all the rules.

An air and sea search resumed this morning for the American snorkeller after she went
missing yesterday afternoon.

She was noticed missing during a head count aboard a Quicksilver Cruises catamaran
at Agincourt Reef, about 50km north-east of Port Douglas.

The woman, from Fort Bragg in California, was noticed missing from the 300 passengers
on the trip to the outer reef.
