BRISBANE, Jan 12 AAP - A barrister broke down in the witness box at Queensland's electoral
rorts inquiry today as she confessed to lying over involvement in a suspect preselection.

Tara Waters - a senior policy analyst in Queensland's Housing Department - sobbed as
she told the Shepherdson Inquiry into ALP electoral rorts that she could not live with
herself making false statements.
